Lori BouwmanExecutive Assistant
Lori Bouwman began working at Hope in 1997 as the administrative assistant for the dean of students in student life. In 2001, she began her current position as the executive assistant for the dean of the chapel in campus ministries.
Her responsibilities include assisting the dean of the chapel and other chaplain staff with scheduling and executing various projects and speaker visits. She also supervises the campus ministries office, which includes overseeing a part-time administrative assistant and the student office assistants. She manages the department website and maintains budgets, records and files.

Lori was employed at Herman Miller for 17 years. She began in word processing, became an administrative assistant for the vice president of operations and later moved to the custom choices sales division.
Outside the College
Lori has served as a mentor and Bible study leader for a number of Hope students. She and her husband enjoy traveling, camping and summers at the cottage, as well as time with their family and doting on their grandchildren!
