Theresa Bravata is the assistant director of the Events and Conferences Office (ECO) and has been at Hope College since 2012. In addition to daily office happenings and campus events, she oversees the ECO design department. Theresa also hires and leads a group of conference coordinators during the summers to ensure that all goes well for conference guests.

Professional experience

Before coming to Hope, Theresa was the activities coordinator at Freedom Village for seven years. Prior to that, she was an art teacher in Cadillac, Michigan.

Why I love Hope

What drew Theresa to Holland was its proximity to water and the atmosphere of the college town. The energy that drew her to Holland is the same one that brought her to apply at Hope College. What she enjoys most about working at Hope is the interaction with students. They offer a fresh perspective on life, instill humor into each day and keep her motivated to learn new things.
