Recurring Electronic Giving

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) is a monthly giving option designed to make your support of Hope College easy, cost-effective and environmentally friendly. Hope offers this popular automatic contribution option, providing donors with flexibility and convenience.

How does it work?

  • Select the amount of your contribution (minimum $5 per month)
  • Select the bank account from which you want your contribution deducted
  • On the 5th of every month, Hope will draw your specified amount directly from your account, to repeat until your pledge is fully paid or until you request to stop the automatic donation
  • You will receive a receipt for your total contributions at the end of the calendar year

The benefits of EFT are many:

  • No sign-up costs or monthly fees
  • Save on postage
  • Eliminates costs to Hope College for pledge reminders, postage, credit card fees and other administrative expenses
  • Your gift is easier to budget when it’s spread over time
  • Monthly giving allows for a greater impact to Hope and its students
  • Start and stop your giving at any time, just by notifying us

IRA Charitable Rollover

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  1. Contact your IRA plan administrator to make a gift from your IRA to us.
  2. Your IRA funds will be directly transferred to our organization to help continue our important work.
  3. Please note that IRA charitable rollover gifts do not qualify for a charitable deduction.
  4. Please contact us if you wish for your gift to be used for a specific purpose.

You can also learn more about IRA Charitable Rollovers on our website.

Donor Advised Fund

Donor advised funds provide a convenient and tax-efficient method for donors to manage their charitable giving. Donors make an irrevocable gift to a public charity that sponsors a donor-advised fund program and may take an immediate tax deduction. Donors then recommend grants, over time, to the organizations they wish to support. Clients of Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable and BNY Mellon can easily make a designation to Hope College through the DAF Direct window on this page.

Faculty/Staff Payroll Deduction

In addition to your daily contributions of time and effort, a financial contribution is an important way to demonstrate your investment in Hope and our students. Your participation is a vote of confidence in the college and its future, and it helps Hope secure additional funding from corporations and foundations. It also helps maintain and improve the college's national recognition.

Every gift, regardless of the amount, makes a difference. Thank you for participating!
