Hope College will feature the Michigan Recital Project on Thursday, Oct. 10, at 7:30 p.m. in Wichers Auditorium of Nykerk Hall of Music.

A showcase concert open to all community members and master classes for students will be among the highlights of the Michigan Dance Festival of the Michigan Dance Council being held at Hope College on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Hope College Theatre will present “Oh, the Humanity and Other Good Intentions” on Friday-Saturday, Oct. 4-5, and Wednesday-Saturday, Oct. 9-12, at 8 p.m. in the DeWitt Center studio theatre.

The Jazz Arts Collective, Contemporary Ensemble and Mainstream Ensemble, featuring the music of Chuck Owen, will perform at Hope College on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 7:30 p.m. in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.

The Hope College Knickbocker Fall Film Series will present “The Girls in the Band” on Monday-Saturday, Oct. 7-12, at 7:30 p.m.

The Hope College Orchestra will present a concert on Thursday, Oct. 3, at 8 p.m. in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.

The Hope College Knickerbocker Theatre in downtown Holland will open its fall film series with “Blue Jasmine” on Monday-Saturday, Sept. 30-Oct. 5, at 7:30 p.m.

A concert featuring the Hope College faculty jazz ensemble with Edye Evans Hyde and guest artists Sunny Wilkinson and Ron Newman will take place at Hope College on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 7:30 p.m. in Wichers Auditorium of Nykerk Hall of Music.

The Hope College Wind Ensemble will perform on Monday, Sept. 30, at 7:30 p.m. in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.

The Jack Ridl Visiting Writers Series of Hope College will feature Todd Davis and David L. James on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m. in the Fried-Hemenway Auditorium in the Martha Miller Center for the Eighth Annual Tom Andrews Memorial Reading.
