Four members of the Hope College faculty will be  retiring at the end of the school year.

Following the eight regional festivals held in January and February this year, the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival has included Hope College in the national awards established to recognize outstanding achievement for the Festival year of 2011.

Dr. Scott VanderStoep, a member of the Hope College psychology faculty, has been appointed the college’s dean for the social sciences effective July 1, 2012.

Jantina Holleman of Holland, Mich., who was a member of the Hope music faculty for 41 years until retiring in 1987, died on Friday, Feb. 24.  She was 91.
