By Larry Shue

Larry Shue's play has become a comic classic since HSRT last did it 21 years ago. White not losing an iota of its hilarity, it has become more timely than ever. Its ingenious plot, involving a shy Englishman seeking peace and quiet by pretending not to understand a word of English, is a playground for seven comic actors. Set in a rural southern fishing lodge, his ploy puts him in the middle of hidden intrigues, a crew of outrageous characters, and the most comic of melodramatic resolutions.
