Information for Visiting Delegates

Hope College welcomes delegates to participate in the academic processional for the Inauguration Ceremony. Delegates are members of administration, faculty or an alumnus/alumna appointed to represent an academic institution, learned or professional society.

    Delegate Line-up

    Delegates will be ordered for the Processional by the year their institution was founded (oldest to most recent).  Our staff will be on hand to assist you.
  • 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

  • 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
    Post-Inaugural Reception

Regalia

Delegates will participate in the academic procession in full academic regalia. Please bring your own regalia or arrange for regalia rental (at your expense) by contacting Paula Shaughnessy at the Hope Geneva Bookstore 616.395.7833 or shaughnessyp@hope.edu. Rental deadline to avoid express surcharges is August 19.

Parking

Reserved parking is available in Lot 22, located at the Anderson/Werkman Financial Center (100 E. 8th Street, parking lot faces 9th Street).
