The DeWitt Center has served the Hope/Holland community for five decades. Its construction was made possible through a generous donation by alumni brothers Jack and Richard (Dick) DeWitt. Jack DeWitt, Hope class of 1932 and a lifelong advocate of the college, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2012 at the age of 100. Dick DeWitt, Hope class of 1931, died in 2010 at age 96.
