Abstract
The Church of South India Diocese of Madras was a non-RCA religious, educational, and social welfare organization administered by Anglican organizers and English and American missionaries, yet ministered in the field by generations of Indian pastors and bishops. Along with attending to the spiritual needs of the people, the diocese addressed social need such as malnutrition and drought. The collection consists of monthly issues of “News and Notes” from the Madras Mission from 1976 to 1983, along with publications of the Diocese of Vellore and from Madras.
