Abstract

The American Madura Mission in India was a non-RCA Protestant mission. By 1909, its 75th year, the Madura Mission in India ministered to over two million people at the stations of Madura, Dindigul, Tirumangalam, Pasumalai, Periakulam, Aruppukottai, Battalagundu, Melur, Palani, and Manamadura. In that year, the mission operated hospitals, Bible schools, girls’ schools, a theological seminary, and a press. The collection consists of scattered annual reports from 1903-1922. Also collected is a report of a ministers’ conference held at Pasumalai, 1922.
