About the Library
The Mission of the library is to serve as a vibrant center of intellectual and cultural life at Hope College by assuming a significant educational role in a college community committed to excellence in learning and teaching.
The goals of the library are:
- The library will facilitate individual and collaborative learning and exploration by providing physical and virtual environments, and the technology and staff to support them.
- The library will foster a community of information-literate, life-long learners by coordinating and implementing a comprehensive instruction program designed to reach a variety of information needs and learning styles.
- The library will collect, organize, and provide access to information sources that support the college's undergraduate liberal arts curriculum, and the intellectual, cultural, and spiritual growth of the Hope community.
