SciFinder User Registration
Before using the web version of SciFinder, each user must complete the registration process and establish an individual account. The link at the bottom of this page will take you to the registration page. Before clicking on the link, please review the following information:
- When prompted for your e-mail address, you must use your complete hope.edu address.
- When creating a username, it must contain 5-15 characters. It can contain only letters or a combination of letters, numbers, and/or these characters:
- – (dash)
- _ (underscore)
- . (period)
- @ (at symbol)
- Your password must contain 7-15 characters and include at least 3 of the following:
- Letters
- Mixed upper and lower case letters
- Numbers
- Non-alphanumeric characters (e.g. @, #, %, &, *)
- After you have completed the registration form, CAS will e-mail you instructions for completing the registration process.
Depending on the web browser you are using, you may get a certificate warning when accessing SciFinder. That is fine, just click through to the website.
