Euclid's Elementia

The rare book room houses a copy of Euclid’s Elementia from 1482. Printed in Vince Italy, Elementia was among the first books to be set in print, and is believed to be second only to the Bible in the number of editions. Throughout history Euclid’s Elementia has been a foundational text for mathematics and science.

Interviews with Dr. Jonathan Hagood and Dr. Darin Stephenson highlight the importance and historical impact of this text.
