The purpose of course reserves is to facilitate student access to readings and other materials for classes at Hope College. Reserve services are available at both the Van Wylen Library and the Music Library.

The library will:

• Place material on reserve at the request of the instructor for the educational use of students.
• Limit online access to Hope College faculty, students and staff.
• Work with faculty to insure that copyrighted materials meet the criteria for fair use; or obtain permission to place material on reserve.
• Place a copyright notice on photocopied works or on screens proceeding electronic access.
• Remove access to reserve material after the class has ended.
