Chat is for brief, straightforward questions. Extensive research questions should be asked in-person at the Reference Desk or by appointment.

Privacy: The content of instant messaging (IM) exchanges is not encrypted and privacy cannot be guaranteed. For more information, please refer to the privacy information provided by your IM service and by ours (meebo). We reserve the right to maintain IM transcripts for internal use.

Acceptable Use: All users agree to abide by the Hope College Computer Usage Responsibilities. Abusive or harassing language will not be tolerated.
