It isn’t uncommon
for people to say that there is money out there for those who have
the drive and determination to achieve success in
school. And
we’re here to tell you, it’s true! The mere fact that you’re
still in school and even reading this newsletter shows that you too
must have the necessary drive and determination for success. After much
deliberation, we’ve realized that
as college students; between studying, going to class, eating, writing
papers, sleeping, studying some
more (and socializing), the scholarship/internship search process stands
as an ever challenging prospect.
That is why The Office of Multicultural Education is now helping
you identify available scholarships/internships within your areas
of interest. Each month you
can not only
look forward to The Source featuring abstracts of potential scholarships/internships
available on the OME Website, but also time to meet with Grace Olamijulo
in the Multicultural Student Lounge to
review
scholarship/internship
information.
She will be available in the lounge the third Saturday of every month
from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. If you haven’t already done so, please fill
out the ‘Scholarship
Personal Information Sheet’ so that we can better assist you. Then
visit The Source Issues Archive (located
on the OME Website) to access all scholarship newsletter issues!
Sincerely,
The Office of Multicultural Education
