Glenn Lowe has been appointed director of development at Hope College.

          Lowe has been a member of the college's staff
  since 1990, serving as a regional advancement director.  The
  new appointment became effective earlier this month.
          His responsibilities include the management of
  ongoing activities of the college advancement efforts in
  development and donor relations.  In addition, he will
  direct staff fundraising efforts for special projects.
          Immediately prior to joining Hope's advancement
  staff, Lowe was senior project manager with Williams
  Marketing Services of Grand Rapids, a position he had held
  since 1987.  He was with the dealer development department
  at Haworth Inc. from 1984 to 1987.
          From 1975 to 1984, Lowe was director of financial
  aid and associate director of admissions for Aquinas College
  in Grand Rapids.  He was assistant director of admissions
  and financial aid at Hope from 1972 to 1975.
          Lowe serves on the Children's After School
  Achievement (CASA) program Advisory Board, on the West
  Ottawa Schools Community Foundation Board and the area Young
  Life Committee.  He is a member of Christ Memorial Reformed
  Church, where he serves on the Administrative Consistory and
  is chair of the deacons.
          A 1971 Hope graduate, he is advisor to the
  college's Emersonian Fraternity.  He and his wife, the
  former Jane Voogd, who is a 1975 Hope graduate, have three
  children:  twins Katie and Carrie, who have just completed
  their first year at Hope, and Jennifer, who is a freshman at
  West Ottawa High School.
