The gallery of the De Pree Art Center will feature its annual Juried Student Show from Friday, Dec. 1, through Friday, Dec. 15.

There will be an opening reception on Friday, Dec.
1, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
The public is invited to both the reception and
the exhibition. Admission is free.

All Hope College students were eligible to submit
work in any media. The exhibition was juried by Paul
Wittenbraker, assistant professor of foundations and fine
art at Grand Valley State University. Works by 31 students
are included, and range from traditional media, such as
drawing, photography and painting, to multimedia sculptural
installations featuring amplifiers and hissing cockroaches.

Hope College students with work included in the
Juried Student Show are: senior Lara Alderman of Maple
City; junior John J. Andersen of Hamilton; junior Jenna
Anderson of Cincinnati, Ohio; sophomore Arianna L. Baker of
Wheaton, Ill.; junior D.J. Blake of Gaylord; senior Letty
Bowling of Byron Center; junior Andrew Brosseit of Lawton;
junior Jennifer Chalifoux of Fort Wayne, Ind.; senior Katie
Cramer of Delano, Minn.; junior Tana Vivian Ferguson of
Grass Valley, Calif.

The De Pree Art Center is located at 12th Street
and Columbia Avenue. Regular gallery hours are Monday-
Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to
5 p.m. The gallery is handicapped accessible.
