"Art Addicts: Dealers Welcome," an exhibition of work by graduating majors in art and art history, will be featured in the gallery of the De Pree Art Center at Hope College from Friday, April 5, through Sunday, May 5.

There will be an opening reception on Friday, April 5, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

The public is invited to the exhibition and the reception. Admission is free.

The exhibiting studio art majors are Jenna Anderson of Cincinnati, Ohio; Cheri Cecil of Haslett; Jennifer Chalifoux of Fort Wayne, Ind.; Errin Clapp of Kalamazoo; Steve Haulenbeek of Kalamazoo; Lauren Hermes of Arlington Heights, Ill.; Meryl Humphrey of Fremont; Jennifer Joubran of Traverse City; Amy Kazmarski of Midland; Anna Kohls of Shawano, Wis.; Cassie Krause of East Jordan; Amy Leyrer of Grand Haven; Kristin McMillen of Kalamazoo; Monique Murray of Grant; Carrie Ouzts of Lawrence; Matt Parker of Ann Arbor; Eron Powers of Brighton; Ian Ripmaster of Grand Rapids; and Samantha Sandro of Greenville.

Also on display are the senior papers of graduating art history majors Chalifoux and Hermes. The students will give slide presentations of their papers on Thursday, April 18, at 7 p.m. in Cook Auditorium of the De Pree Art Center.

"Art Addicts: Dealers Welcome" is sponsored by The Apothecary Shop, The Art Annex, The Color House, New Holland Brewery Company, The Tower Clock, Uptown Gallery and the Department of Art at Hope.

The De Pree Art Center is located on Columbia Avenue at 12th Street. Regular gallery hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The gallery is handicapped accessible.
