The Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra Woodwind Quartet will perform at Hope College on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 8 p.m. in Wichers Auditorium of Nykerk Hall of Music.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The Quintet's performance will feature music that represents some of the greatest works for a woodwind quintet, including works by György Ligeti, Paul Hindemith, Jean Philippe Rameau, and Carl Nielsen.

"This will be a wonderful recital of exciting music that we quite frankly don't get to hear in Holland very often," said Dr. Steven Ward, assistant professor of music at Hope. "I am thrilled that the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra Quintet is coming to our campus."

Nykerk Hall of Music is located along the former 12th Street between Columbia and College Avenues.
