The Hope College music faculty will present a varied concert in their second recital of the year on Sunday, Oct. 19, at 3 p.m. in Wichers Auditorium of Nykerk Hall of Music.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The performance will include "Three Preludes," a piece written and performed by classical guitarist Robert Lunn.

Husband and wife Mihai and Debra Craioveanu, playing violin and viola respectively, will perform "Passacaglia" by Handel-Halvorsen.

Mezzo-soprano Elizabeth LaGrande, accompanied by pianist Deborah De La Torre, will sing five 20th century birdsongs, including Kurt Weill's "The Lonesome Dove" and Samuel Barber's "There's Nae Lark."

Clarinetist Kristin Ward will play Miklos Rozsa's "Sonata for Clarinet Solo, Op. 27," and Lora Clark, pianist, will present Sergei Rachmaninoff's "Variations on a Theme of Corelli, Op. 42."

Ryan Janus, soprano saxophone, along with pianist Jennifer Wolfe, will perform "Sonata (1989)" by Jindrich Feld.

Nykerk Hall of Music is located on the former 12th Street between College and Columbia avenues.
