The Hope College Chapel Choir will perform its annual "home concert" after returning from an East Coast tour on Monday, March 22, at 8 p.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Holland.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The program will include works by Salamone Rossi, William Mathias, John Paynter, and Ralph Vaughn Williams. It will open with Rene Clausen's "All That Have Life and Breath Praise Ye the Lord!," and will end with three spirituals including "Steal Away to Jesus" and "Soon ah will b done."

The Chapel Choir was organized in 1929 and began touring annually in 1953. In addition to touring extensively in the United States and Canada, the choir has made a European tour six times.

The 42 members are selected by audition. The choir is directed by Brad Richmond, director of choral activities and associate professor of music at Hope.

His wife, Jennifer Wolfe, a part-time faculty member, accompanies the choir on piano and organ.

St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church is located at 171 West 13th Street in Holland.
