The setting may be an all-night diner in New York City, but the real location is at the Park Theatre near downtown Holland.

The Hope Summer Repertory Theatre (HSRT) returns to the Park Theatre on July 2 at 8:30 p.m. with its popular cabaret offering, featuring catering by Till Midnight Restaurant.

"All Night Diner" is the seventh cabaret show created for HSRT by New York City resident Fred Tessler. One of Tessler's early cabaret shows, "G.I. Jive" has been expanded and will debut on Hope's DeWitt Mainstage later this summer.

With songs like "Over the Top," "Have You Got a Lot to Learn," "Stuck on You," and few "torch" songs as well, "All Night Diner" should prove to be equally successful.

Two ensemble members from last year, Equity Actor Quincy Marr and Michaun Burton return along with Lisa Warmus, Jonathan Visser, and Larry Young.

Richard Jessup is the choreographer for this song and dance performance.

In addition to the July 2 show the cabaret will be open on July 3, 7, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 20, 28, and August 2. The curtain for all the cabarets shows is 8:30 p.m.

The Park Theatre is located on River Avenue between 10th and 11th Street, across from Holland's Centennial Park.

While at the box office, be sure to reserve tickets for the other great HSRT mainstage shows, including the musical "Bye Bye Birdie," the Tony-award winning comedy, "Art," George Bernard Shaw's comedy "Arms and the Man" and HSRT's own creation "G.I. Jive." HSRT's "second stage" show is a funny and touching look at Little League baseball coaches in "Rounding Third." The Children's Performance Troupe is presenting Jon Scieszka's "The Stinky Cheese Man" and Louis Sachar's "Sideways Stories from Wayside School."

The ticket office is located in the DeWitt Center, on the Hope College campus, at the corner of 12th Street and Columbia Avenue in Holland. Prices range from $8-$25 for musicals, and $8-$18 for plays. Cabaret show tickets are all $22. Ticket office hours are 10 a.m-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, and one hour before all showtimes. Tickets may also be purchased by calling 616-395-7890.
