Tickets are $15 for the general public and $10 for Hope students. Advance sales are taking place at the Student Union Desk on the main floor of the DeWitt Center, with any remaining tickets available at the door.

The doors for the concert will open at 9 p.m.

Mae's moniker is an acronym for Multisensory Aesthetic Experience, in keeping with the quintet's vision for its art.

"What would music look like if you could see it? What would it feel like and how would it taste?," said drummer Jacob Marshall. Of its most recent album "The Everglow" he noted, "When building this record, Mae wanted to present the concept in as unified a form as possible."

"This record is almost like a puzzle because we have so many hidden details that connect the music and the visual artwork," Marshall said. "Our fans tend to appreciate that attention to detail, so we are excited to see people discover those connections for themselves."

In addition to Marshall, Mae's members are Dave Elkins, lead vocalist and guitar; Zach Gehring, guitar; Mark Padgett, bass; and Rob Sweitzer, keyboards.

"The Everglow," released by Tooth & Nail Records in March 2005, is Mae's second album, following 2003's "Destination Beautiful," and has sold more than 130,000 copies in its first year. Mae is currently getting ready to re-release "The Everglow," featuring three new songs and bonus DVD footage. In conjunction with the re-release, Mae has also just finished a video for the group's new single, "Someone Else's Arms."

Mae has toured with artists ranging from Yellowcard to Weezer to Foo Fighters. Mae's as-yet-unnamed new studio album, set for release in early 2007, has already made "Alternative Press's" "Most Anticipated" list.

The Student Union Desk is open Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The DeWitt Center is located at 141 E. 12th St., at Columbia Avenue, and Dimnent Memorial Chapel is located at 277 College Ave., at 12th Street.
