A presentation on the United Nations and non-governmental organizations will take place at Hope College on Tuesday, March 7, from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. in room 1000 of the science center.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The event will examine how non-governmental organizations are helping the United Nations accomplish its Millennium Goals. The speakers will be Jarrett DeWyse, who is director of housing development at Dwelling Place, and Peter VanderMeulen, who is with the Christian Reformed Church Office of Social Justice and Hunger Action.

The presentation is sponsored by Michigan Campus Compact's "The People Speak Project."

The science center is located on College Avenue at 12th Street.
