Some 50 students in the French program at Hope College will present a variety show on Thursday, April 6, at 6 p.m. in the DeWitt Center studio theatre.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

Titled "En sortant de l'école" ("Upon Leaving School") and presented in French, the event will feature poems, skits, and musical and dance performances, as well as excerpts from plays by Moliere and Ionesco. All of the presentations relate to schools, students and their teachers in France.

It is the second year that the department of French at Hope has organized such a soiree. Dr. Isabelle Chapuis-Alvarez, assistant professor of French, is the principal director and stage manager.

The DeWitt Center is located on Columbia Avenue at 12th Street. The studio theatre is located on the ground level near the Columbia Avenue side of the building.
