Founded in 1981, the WBCA promotes women's basketball by unifying coaches at all levels to develop a reputable identity for the sport and to foster and promote the development of the game as an amateur sport for women and girls.

Coach Morehouse's Flying Dutch captured the NCAA Division III national championship last month. The team ended the season with a 30-game winning streak highlighted by the championship game victory over Southern Maine University. Hope's 33-1 record set a school and Division III record for victories in a season.
