The Hope College Symphonette will be joined by the College's Chapel Choir and College Chorus plus solo artists for the annual Combined Concert on Tuesday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The Hope College Choirs will be led by interim director Jeff Buettner, and the Symphonette will be led by conductor Richard Piippo.

"Regina Coeli" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart will open the performance. Written for soprano solo, chorus and orchestra, the work will feature Hope College faculty soprano Linda Dykstra.

Two Psalm settings by John Rutter will then be performed, followed by "Schicksalslied" ("Song of Fate") by Johannes Brahms, a setting for chorus and orchestra that depicts Friedrich Hölderlein's text.

The concert will conclude with Mozart's "Veni Sancte Spiritus," featuring student soloists.
