The Van Wylen Library at Hope College is holding a book sale through the end of September.

The sale, which begins on Tuesday, Sept. 19, will offer both hardcover and paperback books, in both fiction and nonfiction, including many art magazines such as "Antiques," "Architectural Digest," "Country Life" and "Smithsonian." Also for sale are library scrap bags filled with ephemera and found items for altered book and collage artists, including foreign language texts, music, microfiche, movie film, envelopes, time cards and post cards. Prices vary.

During the month of September the library is open Mondays-Thursdays from 8 a.m. to midnight, Fridays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 1 p.m. to midnight.

The sale is taking place on the north side of the library's main floor. The library is located on College Avenue at 10th Street, with access to the main floor through the building's south side.
