MIAA champion Hope has placed three players on the Great Lakes All-Region team of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
Receiving first team recognition were junior goalkeeper Mike Amerman of Indianapolis (Brebeuf Prep), senior back Patrick McMahon of Grand Rapids (Forest Hills Central HS), and junior midfielder Dan Tresslar of Bloomington, Ind. (Bloomington South HS). Tresslar, who was voted the MIAA's most valuable player, is receiving All-Region honors for the second straight year.
All-Region first team honorees are eligible for All-America consideration. The recognition program is supported by adidas.
