The annual International Food Fair at Hope College will be held on Saturday, Feb. 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Maas Center auditorium.

The public is invited. The food will be available in exchange for tickets that will be sold at the door.

The International Food Fair has been sponsored by the college's international students for more than 25 years, and celebrates the many cuisines and cultures of the nations represented by members of the Hope community.

Hope students, alone and in small groups, get together to cook a dish from home. They will then wear traditional attire in presenting their dishes. Individual tables will feature the food and educational displays concerning the cuisine and cultures.

Admission for members of the general public as well as for members of the Hope faculty and staff is $5 for the first five tickets/50 cents for each additional ticket. Admission for Hope students is $2 for the first 5 tickets and 50 cents for each additional ticket.

The money raised will support the Heifer Project International.

Additional information may be obtained by calling the college's Office of International Education at (616) 395-7608.

The Maas Center is located on Columbia Avenue at 11th Street
