Hope College's popular contribution to Holland's annual Tulip Time festival continues with organ recitals on Wednesday-Saturday, May 9-12.

  Hope College's popular contribution to Holland's annual Tulip Time festival continues with organ recitals on Wednesday-Saturday, May 9-12.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

Occurring every half-hour, the 20-minute performances begin at 10 a.m. with the last performance beginning at 1:30 p.m. Included among the performers is Hope faculty member Linda Strouf. Strouf holds a master's degree in organ from the University of Wyoming and is a 1984 Hope College graduate.

Other organists include Rob Abbott, Marie Blauwkamp, Sara Bolkema, Sean Daenzer, Susan DeKam, Christopher Dekker, Peter Kurdziel, Abigail Rockwood, Ann Rowell, David Schout, and Norene Walters.

Two organs will be used in the recitals: the Chancel Organ, which was built in 1929 by the E.M. Skinner Organ Company of Boston, Mass., and recently renovated, and the Gallery Organ, built in 1970 by Pels and Van Leeuwen Organ Company of Alkmaar, the Netherlands.
