The Hope Summer Repertory Theatre continues its 36th season with performances of the musical "She Loves Me," beginning July 13 in HopeCollege's DeWitt Theatre.

Based on the book by Joe Masteroff, "She Loves Me" is a sentimental love story about two store clerks, Georg and Amalia, who absolutely loathe each other when they interact face to face, but as anonymous pen pals, they are enamored with each other. This famous love story has been told over and over again including in the hit movie, "You've Got Mail," starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.

From the songwriting team behind "Fiddler on the Roof," with lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and music by Jerry Bock, the music from "She Loves Me" will ensure that this heart melting experience will stay with you. Come sing along with HSRT and watch how this beautiful love story delicately unfolds.

Featuring Daniel Sullivan as Georg and Hillary Parker as Amalia, this striking love story will come to life. Hailing from New York, Daniel Sullivan joins HSRT's acting company for his first season, and has toured with "Pirates of Penzance" and "Jesus Christ Superstar," he can also be seen in Spielberg's "Amistad," "Sex and the City," and "Hollywood Squares." Hillary Parker joins HSRT for her second season and was seen last summer as The Widow Corney in "Oliver," Mona Kent in "Dames at Sea," and Titania/Hippolyta in "A Midsummer Night's Dream."

The show continues with performances at 8:00pm on July 14, 17, 19, 24, 27, 30; August 3, 7, and 11.
