Hope Summer Repertory Theatre will be partnering with Barnes & Noble Booksellers to host an in-store bookfair on Tuesday, July 22 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to Hope's Ticket Subsidy Fund, which allows children and organizations from the community, who could not otherwise afford it, to attend the children's performances at Hope.  In addition, the Ticket Subsidy Fund underwrites performances of the Children's Performance Troupe in area schools.  Organizations which have been served by the Fund in the past include The Boys and Girls Club, CASA, Center for Women in Transition, Community Action House, Holland Rescue Mission and the West Ottawa Migrant Program to name but a few.

To support HSRT please visit Barnes & Noble, found in the Felch Street Plaza, on Tuesday, July 22 and ask for 10% of your purchase to be donated to Hope Summer Repertory Theatre when checking out.

The Children's Performance Troupe will be presenting a free performance of a few scenes from one of their children's plays, "Petite Rouge, the Cajun Red Riding Hood" in the children's section of the store at 2 p.m.  "Petite Rouge" features music and lyrics by author Joan Cushing, also writer of HSRT's past favorites "Miss Nelson is Missing" and "Junie B. Jones."

James Saba directs this hilariously spicy musical about Petite Rouge, a duckling who leads a giant gator on a wild chase through the New Orleans swamp with the help of his cat friend Tejean.
