Athletics
As a member of the MIAA and NCAA Division III associations, Hope College sponsors 22 varsity sports for men and women. The college is home to the 2022 NCAA Division III National Championship women’s basketball team.

Two Hope baseball players have been voted to the coaches' Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) all-conference team.

Named to the second team were freshman catcher Jon Ponte of Novi (Dearborn Divine Child HS) and senior outfielder Paul Neumann of Holland (West Ottawa HS).

Ponte topped the Flying Dutchmen in batting this spring (.368) while Neumann was right behind (.364).

The Flying Dutchmen tied for third place in the MIAA standings and posted a 20-20 overall record under coach Stu Fritz.
