Eight members of the Hope College cross country teams have received all-conference honors from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA).

First team honorees include senior Matt Wiersum of Minnetonka, Minn. (Minnetonka HS) and junior Emily Fischer of Naperville, Ill. (Naperville Central HS).

Second team honorees include sophomore Brian Hernandez of Saline (Saline HS), sophomore Nate Love of Midland (Midland HS), sophomore Kelly Luftkin of Houghton (Houghton HS), freshman Karly Sikma of Grand Rapids (North Pointe Christian HS), freshman Taylor Mattarella of Traverse City (Traverse City Central HS), and sophomore Susan Savasky of Berkley (Birmingham Marian HS).

Both Hope cross country teams finished second in the MIAA seasonal standings. The teams are coached by Mark Northuis.
