The Hope College Orchestra will perform on Friday, April 23, at 7:30 p.m. in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The last orchestra concert of the season will feature works by Reznicek, Chopin and Shostakovich. The program will open with the "Overture to Donna Diana," by Emil von Reznicek. The next piece will feature Andrew Le, of Hope's piano faculty, performing the "Andante Spianato" and "Grand Polonaise Brillante," by Frederic Chopin. Closing this year's season, the orchestra will perform the "Symphony No. 5 in d minor," by Dmitri Shostakovich.

The orchestra is directed by Richard Piippo, who is an associate professor of cello/chamber music at the college. Piippo has taught at Hope since 1999.

Dimnent Memorial Chapel is located at 277 College Ave., on College Avenue at 12th Street.
