Hope College students who studied in France during 2009-10 will be featured during a round-table presentation on Monday, Oct. 11, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Maas Center conference room in an event organized by the faculty of the French section of the department of modern and classical languages.

The public is invited.  Admission is free.

Four seniors will relate their experiences this past year in Nice, Nantes, Paris and Rennes.

° Annalise Almdale of Fort Wayne, Ind., spent May 2010 with the Washington University program in Nice, France.  She is majoring in biology and chemistry with a minor in French.

° Abraham De La Rosa, who currently lives in Holland, spent the fall 2009 semester with the IES program in Nantes.  He is double-majoring in management and French.

° Julia Peterson of Grand Rapids spent the spring 2010 semester in Paris with the IES French Studies Program.  She is majoring in French and communication with a minor in studio art.

° Jamie Poppema of Wayland spent the 2009-10 academic year in Rennes, France through CIEE.  She is double-majoring in French and international studies with a minor in history.
