Athletics
As a member of the MIAA and NCAA Division III associations, Hope College sponsors 22 varsity sports for men and women. The college is home to the 2022 NCAA Division III National Championship women’s basketball team.

Hope College is holding its inaugural Hope Madness for basketball Friday, Nov. 5, at DeVos Fieldhouse.

It is an opportunity for fans to meet members of this year’s men’s and women’s basketball team. Festivities are scheduled to start at 9:30 p.m., or after the completion of the MIAA volleyball tournament semifinal at Hope.

The Flying Dutch are the top seed for the league tournament and need to win Tuesday’s quarterfinal match to host the semifinals.

Hope basketball coaches Matt Neil and Brian Morehouse will speak at the event.

Interactive games are planned as well, along with hot dogs, pop and popcorn while supplies last.

Hope students will have an opportunity to win money for books for next semester.
