This past summer Hope College senior communication major Jaclyn (Jackie) Smith of Lake Forest, Ill. worked at a film production agency in Chicago where she made her own commercial (produced, edited, and even acted in).

She and three other interns submitted it to a commercial competition mofilm.com and won first place for the brand they chose, Susnsilk, a hair product.

She attended an awards ceremony where the MoFilm staff (a company finding new talent in video-making) and Unilver (owns many of the world's consumer brands) staff joined them. Also, a representative from each product was there and spoke as to why they chose the winners.

To top this all off, they were invited to the 54th BFI London Film Festival and got to walk the red carpet with Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo for their premier of the movie, "The Kids are Alright"!
