Testimonials by outstanding senior students reflecting on their experiences at Hope College will be featured during the office of multicultural education's annual "Senior Recognition and Women of Color Celebration" on Wednesday, March 9, at 5:30 p.m. in the Maas Center auditorium.

 Testimonials by outstanding senior students reflecting on their experiences at Hope College will be featured during the office of multicultural education's annual "Senior Recognition and Women of Color Celebration" on Wednesday, March 9, at 5:30 p.m. in the Maas Center auditorium.

The evening will feature a senior recognition for all graduating students of color.  The students scheduled to speak are seniors Abraham De La Rosa of Holland; Paola Muñoz of Holland; Ayanfeoluwa Olonade of Jos, Nigeria; and Marie Yamazaki of Tokyo, Japan.  The event is hosted by the college's office of multicultural education and dean for international and multicultural education, and co-sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.

Tickets are $7 for the general public and $5 for members of the college's faculty and staff, with no charge for Hope students. Tickets are available through Monday, March 7, at the office of multicultural education at Hope.  Open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the office is located on the first floor of the Martha Miller Center for Global Communication, and can be e-mailed at ome@hope.edu or called at (616) 395-7867.
