Calvin has been picked to finish second, followed by Kalamazoo, Adrian, Hope, Olivet, Saint Mary's, Albion and Trine. Alma received six of a possible nine first place votes in the poll, with Calvin receiving the other three first-place tallies.

The Flying Dutch launch their season on Friday, Sept. 2, at North Central, Ill. The home opener will be Wednesday, Sept. 7, against the University of Chicago. The cobference season begins Wednesday, Sept. 14 at Kalamazoo.
