Hope College soccer players and fans will honor the memory of former player Justin Bailey prior to the team's home opener on Friday at Van Andel Soccer Stadium in Holland. A 2010 graduate of Hope College and four-year soccer letterwinner, Bailey was killed in an automobile accident in Kalamazoo County on June 23, 2011.

Hope College will be co-hosting the Cal Bergsma Memorial Tournament with Calvin College on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, prior to a 7 p.m.game against Madonna University, there will be a tribute to Bailey. Team members will wear warmup shirts with Bailey's name and number (#5). Fans will have an opportunity to purchase a Hope College headband, a Justin Bailey trademark. Proceeds will benefit the Justin Bailey Scholarship Fund established at Hope College.
