The Hope College admissions office will sponsor a visit day for prospective college students on Friday, September 30.

While the college does not require personal visits to campus by prospective students, it does strongly recommend them.  Students and parents are encouraged to visit the Admissions Office, where campus tours, class visits and faculty conferences can be arranged.

Visit days are an excellent choice for exploring Hope's campus.  It provides more of a structured campus visit than an individual visit, but still provides the flexibility to create a day that best suits a prospective student's interests.  Activities include campus tours, class visits, optional chapel service, student panel discussions, financial aid presentations, lunch in dining hall and academic information sessions with Hope faculty.

Visitors should meet at 8:30 a.m. in the Maas Conference Center, located on the corner of 11th Street and Columbia Avenue.  Pre-registration is preferred and can be arranged by calling (616) 395-7850 or online.

Participation is free. A complimentary lunch is provided for students and parents wishing to eat in the dining hall.

Dates for future visitation days during the 2011-12 school year are Oct. 14, Oct. 21, Oct. 28, Nov. 4, Nov. 11, Nov. 18, Jan. 16, Jan. 27, Feb. 3, Feb. 17, Feb. 20, and March 2. Junior days are scheduled for Fridays, March 30, April 13, and April 20, 2012.

Additional information may be obtained at the Admissions Office's website.
