For the 11th consecutive year, the Flying Dutchmen have qualified for the Division III national tournament of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA).

Coach Chris Van Timmeren's Flying Dutchmen have been named the number-one seed from the North Region and as such have gained an automatic berth in the 16-team national tournament field. The tournament will be held March 14-17 in Vineland, N.J.

Hope has advanced to the national tournament every year since the team's first trip in 2001-02. The Flying Dutchmen have been national runnersup each of the past two years.

Already this season, the Flying Dutchmen have won their third consecutive Michigan Collegiate Hockey Conference regular season championship. It is the fifth in school history.
