Testimonials by outstanding senior students reflecting on their experiences at Hope College will be featured during the Hope College Senior Recognition and Women of Color Celebration on Wednesday, April 11, at 5:30 p.m. in the Maas Center auditorium.

The students scheduled to speak are seniors Yessenia Aguirre of Holland, Melodie Gan of Holland, Courtney Long of Canton and Caitlin Seay of Grandville. Also included in the evening celebration will be a senior recognition for all graduating students of color.

The event is hosted by the college’s office of multicultural education and dean for international and multicultural education, and co-sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.

                        Tickets are $7 for the general public and $5 for members of the college's faculty and staff. There is no charge for Hope students. Tickets are available through Tuesday, April 3, at the office of multicultural education at Hope.  Open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the office is located on the first floor of the Martha Miller Center for Global Communication, and can be e-mailed at ome@hope.edu or called at (616) 395-7867.

                        The Maas Center is located at 264 Columbia Ave., on Columbia at 11th Street.  The Martha Miller Center for Global Communication is located at 257 Columbia Ave., at the corner of Columbia Avenue and 10th Street.
