Athletics
As a member of the MIAA and NCAA Division III associations, Hope College sponsors 22 varsity sports for men and women. The college is home to the 2022 NCAA Division III National Championship women’s basketball team.

Hope College students will present a vocal jazz concert on Tuesday, April 10, at 7:30 p.m. in Wichers Auditorium of Nykerk Hall of Music.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The students performing include senior Sara Batts of Scotts; freshman Shekinah Chandy of Gurgaon, Haryana, India; junior Emily Dammer of Galesburg; sophomore Meghan Stagl of Deerfield, Ill.; and junior Vida Wilson of Grand Rapids.

The students are directed by Edye Hyde. Hyde, an instructor of vocal jazz at Hope, has been teaching and performing jazz, blues and pop music for more than 20 years in West Michigan, Los Angeles and Asia.
