Four members of the Hope softball team have received all-conference honors from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA). The Flying Dutch, coached by Mary Vande Hoef, finished fifth in the conference race and posted an overall 17-20-1 record.
Brooke Nienhuis, Laura Tjepkema, Emma Page, Peyton Wells
Senior shortstop Brooke Nienhuis of Zeeland (Zeeland East HS) and junior rightfielder Laura Tjepkema of Dorr (South Christian HS) have been named to the All-MIAA first team while sophomore catcher Emma Page of Portage (Portage Central HS) and freshman first baseman Peyton Wells of Rockford (Rockford HS) have received All-MIAA second team recognition.
