The annual senior art show at Hope College will open with a reception on Friday, April 5, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the gallery of the De Pree Art Center.

The public is invited to both the opening and the exhibition.  Admission is free.

The exhibition, titled "”Collective Bargaining,” features works by graduating studio art and art education majors and will continue through Sunday, May 5. The exhibiting majors are Athina Alvarez of Grand Rapids; Megan Altieri of Bay Village, Ohio; Leah Carroll of South Lyon; Jacob Dombrowski of St. Clair Shores; Rebecca Hawkins of Elk Rapids; Justin Korver of Sioux Center, Iowa; Benjamin Pina of Cedar; Alyssa Richards of Carmel, Ind.; and Rebecca Robinett of Chicago, Ill.

In addition, there will be a reading of Capstone art history papers by graduating seniors on Wednesday, April 24, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Cook Auditorium of the De Pree Art Center.  The students making presentations will be Athina Alvarez of Grand Rapids, Jacob Dombrowski of St. Clair Shores, Kristen Dunn of Grand Rapids and Sarah Johnson of Saginaw.

The De Pree Art Center is located on Columbia Avenue at 12th Street.  The gallery is handicapped accessible, and is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
