Four Hope students will discuss their experiences studying abroad in French-speaking countries on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 4 p.m. in the Fried-Hemenway Auditorium of the Martha Miller Center for Global Communication.
The public is invited. Admission is free.
The round-table event is presented by the college’s French Studies Colloquium.
Senior Alexa Duimstra of Appleton, Wis., who is majoring in art, French and theatre, will speak on the CIEE program in French Cultural Studies in Paris.
Junior Benedict Fils-Aimé of Stamford, Conn., who is majoring in French secondary education and Japanese and minoring in English secondary education, will present the CIEE program in Rennes (Brittany).
Senior Taylor Mann of Kalamazoo, who is majoring in biology and French, will speak on the SIT program in Toulouse (southwestern France).
Junior Brandon Verna of Dexter, who is majoring in French and international studies, will talk about the IES program in Nantes.
The Martha Miller Center for Global Communication is located at 257 Columbia Ave., at the corner of Columbia Avenue and 10th Street.
